Paila Baisakh
Celebrated either on 14th or 15th of April every year. Paila Baisakh is celebrated in Bangladesh, West Bengal, Tripura and Assam. While Hindus may perform an additional puja to Lakshmi or Ganesh, religion isn’t the main driver of this Holiday!

Be it wearing new clothes, to visiting friends and family, enjoying delicacies at home or popular eatries, to cultural performances, paila baisakh marks the beginning of our celebrations for the rest of the year.
